Jason's new engine

The mighty Jason, whose C&J Rotax racer was featured in Sideburn 5, can't leave his bike alone. For the 2011 season it has been rebuilt with new engine cases. Not any old engine cases, but ones machined from billet aluminium. They were designed by UK Supermono racer Ivan Porter to cope with the stresses caused by 78bhp road-race Rotax engines (they often split their cases). Ivan had a batch CNC-machined a few years ago and these are the last pair of cases. Stunning.
Also, check out the multi-pin socket coming from the flywheel. Jason made his own military spec loom. GI
